Choosing the perfect room is part of the journey. To help elevate your stay, we curated a guide that aligns each room with the nature of your visit—be it a romantic escape, a family retreat, or a solo moment of peace—ensuring your experience of the Sonoran Desert is an unforgettable inhale and exhale.

One group may book up to 3 rooms before a buyout is required in order to maintain the quiet nature of the inn. If you’re traveling with loved ones and curious about room combinations for your stay, below are some options to consider:
Room & Suite Combinations
Agave Suite (sleeps 2) + Saguaro Suite (sleeps 2) are connected by an upstairs outdoor patio.
Ocotillo Suite (sleeps 4) + Cholla Room (sleeps 2) are connected by the living room and main kitchen.
Saguaro Suite (sleeps 2) + Creosote Suite (sleeps 2) + Yucca Room (sleeps 2) are all connected by a downstairs hallway.
Cholla Room $
For the value-conscious traveler, our charming Cholla Room offers a thoughtful blend of quiet luxury and affordability in the heart of the desert. The Cholla Room is ideal for guests seeking accessibility on the grounds as there are no stairs required. New parents would also love this room as it’s the only room on this side of the inn which allows for intentional privacy. If you’d like to add a pack-n-play for your stay please let us know. Solo-travelers, this is the perfect room for you, too!
The private patio includes a secluded parking spot available to Cholla guests only. Cholla’s bathroom is just a few steps from the room in a quiet hallway, about 20′ or so from the room’s entrance. Aside from any daytime guest presence, mornings and nights will feel private and akin to the bedroom/bathroom setup you’ll find in many homes. This room includes a kitchenette with two refrigerator drawers. The main kitchen is just down the hallway which additionally has freezer space for all guests to use. The grilling patio is located above this room (stairs are required to access it), and barbecue dinners are a lovely experience while staying in Cholla overlooking the desert and mountains.
The patio extends towards the on site Labyrinth Trail and makes for a sunshine filled morning walk with a mug of coffee in hand.
Yucca Room $
For the mindful explorer, our beautiful Yucca Room is an immersive experience in the Sonoran Desert. This room is thoughtfully suited for guests seeking ease and privacy. Solo-travelers would find this room to be full of calm. Couples and friends could also enjoy this room and if you’re traveling in a group, this room pairs well with our Saguaro Suite and Creosote Suite as they all share a hall.
The large frame window peering into the greens and browns of the desert brings the serenity of nature right into your room. Yucca features a full bathroom with a step-in shower along with a fireplace, a king bed and a frame tv. The kitchenette is stocked with loose leaf tea, coffee beans, granola and almond milk—everything you need to brew your tea or coffee in your room. The private patio sits with the desert and offers a quiet and contemplative start to the day with native wildlife lingering by.
The Yucca Room is located near the Bath House, planning some time in there completes moments of rejuvenation at the inn.
Ocotillo Suite $$
For families and friends looking to make the most out of precious moments spent traveling together, our Ocotillo Suite is cozy and comfortably accommodates up to four adults and a child.
Ocotillo is our designated family suite where you’ll find a crib and a high chair ready for littles. Please note, this is a split-level suite and requires the use of stairs (we do provide a baby gate as well). The downstairs entrance of the suite is accessed through the main living room of the inn and features a full bathroom with a step-in shower and a queen bed with a frame tv. The upstairs entrance is located outside accessed through the outdoor patio where morning coffee or evening wine is a dream come true. The upper level includes a king bed, a fireplace, another frame tv and a kitchenette with two refrigerator drawers.
If you’re traveling with a small group and considering multiple rooms, Ocotillo is great to include—it’s the only room that accommodates up to four adults comfortably. This suite pairs well with our Cholla Room as they’re both on the same side of the inn and are connect by the common spaces.
Agave Suite $$
For the travelers looking to reconnect with themselves, with nature, or with one another, for couples and solo-travelers, the Agave Suite offers a quiet pause in time, where solitude and scenery come together in perfect harmony.
Accessed by stairs, Agave features a full bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, a cozy queen bed, a fireplace, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. Step onto your private west-facing balcony, where a dining table invites intimate meals under the sky—perfect for savoring the desert’s most breathtaking sunsets.

Creosote Suite $$
For the culinary traveler who loves to cook, the Creosote Suite—with its full chef’s kitchen—is the perfect home base for your stay. The kitchen comes stocked with loose leaf tea, coffee beans, almond milk and granola.
Creosote features a king bed, a fully stocked chef kitchen, dual refrigerator drawers, an indoor dining table, a jungle walk in shower, a frame tv and a private patio with an outdoor dining table.
You’ll find there are many places to gather in silence or good conversation to enjoy the meals you craft up.
Saguaro Suite $$$
For those celebrating special moments in time such as birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons or baby moons. The stunning Saguaro Suite is for our guests seeking a romantic escape.
There are two entrances to Saguaro. The upstairs entrance is located outside accessed through the outdoor patio which faces West where stepping out to view the Sonoran sunset is sure to slow your breathing. The downstairs entrance of the suite is accessed through the shared hall of the Creosote Suite and Yucca Room. On the lower level, you’ll find a full bathroom with a step-in shower and a sunken penny tile tub, a king bed and a fireplace. The upper level features another fireplace, a frame tv and a kitchenette with two refrigerator drawers.
The upstairs private entrance leads to the hot springs style hot tub through the olive grove where the great horned owls hang out in the surrounding palm trees.
The JTH Tucson Buyout $$$$
