Weddings at JTH Tucson

JTH Tucson wedding

At The Joshua Tree House, we believe love is love. We welcome couples of all orientations, identities, and expressions, and we honor the many ways people choose one another. This place has always felt like an invitation to arrive as you are, to be seen, and to celebrate connection without pretense. Whoever you love, however you love, you are welcome here, on this day and in all the days that follow.

JTH Tucson has long been a place where people come to slow down, connect, and mark meaningful moments together immersed in nature. With wide desert skies, quiet corners, and thoughtfully designed spaces, it has naturally become a home for micro weddings and elopements of all kinds. When we’re asked, “Do you host weddings?” our answer is simple and wholehearted: yes, we’d be honored to welcome you here.

Micro Wedding FAQS

Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about hosting a wedding at The Joshua Tree House here in Tucson, Arizona. If you’d like to talk through details or see if it’s the right fit for your day, you’re always welcome to reach out to us at tucson@thejoshuatreehouse.com.

Can I host my 200 person wedding here?

Our capacity for weddings is limited (by both our permitting and also the sensitivities of our rural, historic property). We currently offer two different options for weddings here at JTH Tucson: micro weddings and two-person elopements.

How many people can I have at my micro-wedding?

You can have 22 total guests: 18 overnight guests plus 4 day passes.

Can I have additional guests at my 2-person elopement?

Our 2-person elopement package is limited to the wedding couple only. This is to avoid having some of the rooms rented by a wedding party while others are rented by people outside of the party. It’s our goal to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests who visit. Please inquire at tucson@thejoshuatreehouse.com for pricing and more details.

Can I host my wedding here but not stay overnight?

For micro weddings you must rent the entire inn—you can see our calendar of availability and pricing for a full buyout of the inn here. For two person elopements, you must rent a room.

Do I have to work with one of your event planners, or can I do my own planning?

We require all weddings onsite to work with our preferred event planning team: Crain + Co. Please inquire at tucson@thejoshuatreehouse.com for pricing and details.

Desert Wedding Inspiration

Over the years, we’ve loved watching couples make this place their own. Some gather beneath the open sky, others tuck into quieter corners, letting the landscape guide the shape of the day. With nearly 40 acres of land to explore, both landscaped and wild, and over 10,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed interior space, there’s room for many kinds of celebrations to unfold naturally. Below, you’ll find a bit of inspiration for those beginning to imagine their own desert wedding here.

Ceremony

Ceremonies can be held anywhere from along our labyrinth trail with mountain scenery to the front cactus garden.

We think our front archway or even our front door also make for the perfect backdrop.

Reception

Our rooftop is a great place to host your reception. Our incredible wedding planners can create the table scape of your dreams with rentals to match your style.

We also love receptions held in our front gardens. The grove of olive trees offers a completely different look and feel.

For those who would prefer to dine indoors, our dining room makes a pretty dreamy reception spot too for smaller groups.

If these images have you imagining your own desert wedding or elopement, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always honored to help hold space for days like these, and we look forward to welcoming you and whatever you dream up here at the inn.
