Private desert retreats near Joshua Tree National Park

The Joshua Tree House consists of three private vacation rentals with open desert views. Each property has a cowboy tub, garden and natural landscape to explore. The house and casita include a hot tub (cabin coming soon!). The original house is conveniently located in downtown Joshua Tree, while the casita and cabin are located in a rural peaceful setting. They are all available for nightly stays or photoshoots.

Our locations have everything from open desert landscape to cactus gardens and southwestern desert decor for a perfect photoshoot backdrop. Where is The Joshua Tree House located?
It is comprised of 3 private vacation rentals. Addresses will be provided upon booking to retain the private nature of these retreats.

What is there to do in the area?
Joshua Tree National Park is a surreal landscape with endless hiking, rock climbing, sunsets and stargazing. In town you'll find a creative community with local shops and eateries. We also recommend visiting nearby old town Yucca Valley and Pioneertown.

What’s the best way to get there?
The closest airport is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). Airports that fly non-stop to Palm Springs include but are not limited to: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle, Austin, Dallas, New York (seasonally), Boston (seasonally) and more.

Are all of the locations next to each other?
The original house is located conveniently in town, while the casita, hacienda and cabin are located 15 minutes away in a rural setting.

They are all located in the town of Joshua Tree, CA bordering the national park.

What are the dining options?
We work with Chef Grecia who can be booked in advance for private meals. We also recommend bringing groceries on site for your stay. Each house comes equipped with a  full kitchen. There are also many great local restaurants that we'd be happy to recommend in the area if you’d rather go out to eat!

Are the houses pet friendly?
As much as we love pets, the houses are not pet friendly for your pets safety due to the presence of local wildlife. However, properly documented service animals are welcome.

Are the houses kid friendly?
Yes! All of the houses are great for families.

Located in the high desert of southern California, the town is easily recognizable by its namesake tree. Bordering Joshua Tree National Park, the town of Joshua Tree is a small community made up of artists, musicians, and explorers. Upon entering town you’ll be greeted with a laid back energy and small locally owned businesses such as JT Health Foods, JT SaloonCrossroads CafeCountry Kitchen, Joshua Tree Bottle Shop, Joshua Tree Brewery, Joshua Tree Farmers Market and Joshua Tree Coffee Company.
