We held our first week long Artist Residency this summer and had the honor of meeting Devin Tuel & Stephen Harms. Two of our artists in residence! It’s our pleasure to announce they’re the curators for this New Moon playlist which also features music from their latest album Divided Kind.
The 7th track on the playlist, Borrowing Time, is a hauntingly beautiful song under their late band name: Native Harrow. We are so excited for them on their next adventure as they transition to their new band name: Devin Tuel & Stephen Harms.
At our JTH Artist Residency this summer, they immersed us in live music with two new songs, one of which was written during the residency itself. We sat around the fire pit listening to the first notes hit the sky, carried by the warm desert breeze moving between saguaros and sunset. Listening to the songs they created while with us was both grounding and untethering. We hope this playlist is exactly that, both grounding and untethering as you move through the changing seasons.

About the New Moon Playlist
When the New Moon arrives, the sky seems still—quiet and unlit. The earth, moon, and sun align, rendering the moon invisible to our eyes. In its absence, something remarkable happens: the stars step forward, planets pulse more brightly and constellations that are usually hidden come into focus. There’s a clarity in this darkness. A sharpened sense of what surrounds us.
It’s a time for quiet beginnings, for planting intentions in the rich stillness of a moonless sky. Creatively, this moment is a blank canvas—a breath before the first brushstroke, a doorway into what’s next. With distractions dimmed, we’re invited to dream, to set goals that feel honest, and to begin a new cycle with deeper awareness.
