Since we launched the Joshua Tree House on Airbnb, its been an amazing experience seeing the talent that passes through there. Our guest book is filling up with beautiful sketches from guests, and we get to see incredible images people are sharing of the house on Instagram. We get so much excitement out of seeing…
I recently worked with Casetify to create a collection of phone cases, laptop sleeves, and watch bands. Designing patterns is incredibly fun, but seeing them come to life on products is always the best part. Casetify shared the photo above on their Instagram, letting us all know that eggs and toast are not limited to…
I don’t know if there is such a thing as ‘cheating’ when it comes to interior design, but there are certainly a few tricks I like to use to transform a room that are all too easy. One of these ‘cheats’ is just adding a ton of pillows. (Plants are another great example, but with The…
I have a lot to say about my sentiments of Joshua Tree… why we bought there, and how much we missed California after spending nine months away from it. But we can get to all of that later. Right now, I just want to talk about how fun before and after photos are. When working…

One of our favorite things about living in San Francisco is taking day trips to Sonoma. Only about a half hour outside of the city, it feels like it’s worlds away. Not to mention, the whole place devoted to one of my favorite things: WINE. We’re definitely partial to Sonoma over Napa for a few…
While we were in Tulum, the weather was ok, but really not the best. This meant clouds, and churned up waters. BUT, as soon as we took our ferry from Cancun over to Isla Mujeres everything cleared up and the water looked bright turquoise. I’ve never seen water like that! It was quite the contrast after seeing gray for…
Tulum is a place that both Rich and I have had our eyes on for a while now. We usually opt for adventurous trips, but this around a time a relaxing beach trip was looking pretty appealing. Neither of us had been to Mexico before, and it seemed like it was about time to make it…
Before we headed off to Mexico, the West Coast Craft show was happening in SF! I was so excited that we were around to go check it out, and finally see some of my favorite designers’ works in person. I actually got dizzy while we were there from turning my head too much looking at…
