New Moon Playlist Featuring Riddy Arman

New Moon Playlist with Riddy Arman

The timeless and earnest voice of Riddy Arman has been on our minds as we make the shift into the cool winter here in the high desert. Her song “Half a Heart Keychain” kicks off our holiday playlist, but the entirety of her self-titled album is worth a long listen as you make the drive down a lonesome, endless highway. We hope you enjoy this collection of songs from a few of our recent favorites.

Since tonight is the new moon that means it’s time for a new seasonal playlist. 🌚✨🎶 We wanted to get our holiday playlist out in time for everyone’s upcoming road trips, dinner parties and also just as a reminder to slowwww down. Maybe it’s an excuse to sit down, listen to music and nothing else. Sometimes something so seemingly simple is the most difficult. We hope Riddy Arman’s music gets you to soak in the moment just as much as it does for us.

About the New Moon Playlist

On the New Moon, the earth, moon, and sun align making us unaware of the moon’s presence in the sky. Without the visual presence and glow of the moon, other celestial bodies typically hidden now shine brighter. Our chances of seeing the sky clearly are heightened on this day, making it a day of clarity and new beginnings. Creatively it’s the perfect time to set intentions for a new cycle of dreams and goals, and ways of manifesting them.

To honor this monthly opportunity for fresh starts and creative beginnings, we’ve asked our friend and musician we admire, Chase McBride, to curate a seasonal New Moon Spotify playlist.

Follow The Joshua Tree House on Spotify and be the first to hear new playlists. Last season’s New Moon Spotify Playlist featured artist The Bones of J.R. Jones.

I am interested in staying at
@theJoshuatreehouse and hiking in Joshua Tree park My husband and I would come from Kansas. We work in elementary schools there. I was considering a few days during our spring break, March11-19. I see you are all booked up for then so I would like to hear from you when there are openings to see if we can make it at another time.

Thanks so much for your attention
